In this industry, regulations on disclosure of the titles before or after their release on the market differs from one country to another, or even from one company to another.
While South Korean companies generally don't allow translators and other contractors to add series to their portfolio, some exceptions are possible upon request.
In France, on the other hand, companies are legally bound to credit the translators. Thankfully, proofreaders, letterers and editors are generally credited as well.
I am proud to share that I have translated the following works:
Video Games
In the video game industry, unfortunately, most localisation companies choose to hide their translators by not crediting them, and restricting them with blanket NDAs.
I can however still say that I have worked on many RPG, MMORPG and visual novel titles.
After over 8 years in the localisation industry, I am now finally working on the first game I'll be credited for! I am soooo excited to share its name as soon as it comes out!
